NHS West Yorkshire Board to meet in public to discuss health inequalities and urgent care plans
18 October 2025

The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) will hold its next public meeting on Tuesday, 24 June, at West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services in Brighouse.

During the meeting, Board members will review and approve two key blueprints, including one focused on Integrated Neighbourhoods, which sets out a strategic vision for our aim for neighbourhood teams and neighbourhoods and another one focused on Urgent and Emergency Care.

The agenda also includes time for reflection on the ICB’s work over the past year, with particular attention to reducing health inequalities and improving outcomes for communities across West Yorkshire.

The ICB was established under the Health and Care Act 2022 to oversee health and care planning across West Yorkshire, and is responsible for delivering the Joint Forward Plan, which sets out priorities for the next five years.

The Board helps manage a combined £5 billion health and care budget together with its local place partnership in Bradford District and Craven, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield District.

The ICB also collaborates with several provider partnerships, including the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts, the Mental Health, Learning Disability, and Autism Collaborative, as well as local community and hospice networks, to improve access and quality of care across all areas.

The public section of the meeting will begin at 1.15 pm, and residents are welcome to attend in person or watch online.

Members of the public are invited to submit questions about agenda items ahead of the meeting by emailing westyorkshireics.governance@nhc.net or calling 01924 317659 before 9 am on Monday, 23 June.
