Stretches the M62 will be shut overnight from now until January as Yorkshire Highways carry out essential resurfacing work.
The resurfacing will be carried out on the Westbound carriageway between junctions 25 Clifton and 23 Outlane, as well as on the Westbound junction 24 exit and slip road.
Over 100 road markers will also be replaced, along with six bridge points and the majority of road signs.
In a statement on their website, Highways Yorkshire said: “For the safety of drivers and the workforce, we’ll need full overnight weeknight closures (8pm – 6am) on the M62 westbound.”
These closures will take place on:
- 27-31 October: Junction 25-24
- 4-7 November: Junction 25-24
- 10-14 November: Junction 25-24
- 17-21 November: Junction 25-23
- 24-28 November: Junction 25-23 (excluding Thursday 27 November)
- 8-12 December: Junction 25-23
- 15-19 December: Junction 25-23
