A policing crisis uncounted: “I would be very very surprised if we don’t have another suicide in the next 18 months.”

Behind the Headlines can exclusively reveal three out of four Yorkshire police forces do not record staff suicides. Officers are facing burnout, trauma, and shame with warnings of more suicides to come, 360Wire has been told. The scale of the crisis goes uncounted as forces fail to record the data.
