Paul Heaton’s concert at Sheffield Utilita Arena tonight (November 6) was reportedly interrepted by paramedics following several audience members collapsing.
An eyewitness told community forum Sheffield Online that, according to an announcement made on stage, four people in the standing area had collapsed.
The musicians left the stage whilst medical assistance was being requested for the audience members and returned once the arrival of paramedics had been confirmed.
The causes of the medical emergencies nor the state of those involved have yet to be confirmed. Heaton, formerly of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, was performing as part of his UK tour.
360Wire have approached Legends Global, the team behind Utilita Arena, for confirmation and further information.
