Sheffield Children’s Hospital featured in a Halloween special of CBBC’s Operation Ouch! on Friday (30 October).
The programme was filmed in the hospital’s Emergency Department over the summer, following children receiving treatment.
One of those featured was five-year-old Toby, who trapped his finger in a door and had his hand cleaned and bandaged by hospital staff.
His mum, Aithne, said: “Toby thinks it’s brilliant and that he’s a little celebrity.”
More patients and staff from the hospital are expected to feature in a Christmas special and a new series in 2027.
The Halloween episode is now available on BBC iPlayer.
