Zack Polanski has been removed from the advertised line-up for Sheffield’s Green Space Party, an event bringing together underground music, political speeches and fundraising for the Green Party.

The event takes place at FORGE Warehouse in Sheffield on Sunday, 25 October, featuring DJs and performers from across the city and beyond, alongside speeches from Sheffield councillors, Climate Live and Vicky Laylor.

Polanski was originally billed as a headline guest for the event, but his name has since disappeared from the promotional poster. The circumstances surrounding the change have not been confirmed.

The party will feature a range of musical acts, including Bimini, Burt Cope, Emerald, Jolie P, Piri and Ben Suff Donk.

The wider line-up includes Charla Green, Choonpanzee, DJ Fingerblast b2b DJ Deep Heat, Hanamercy, KWIB, LoveDay, Princess Elf Bar, Rob in Purple b2b Melk and The Donkcast.

The programme also features Big Fat Rave and Bassoff, powered by Raze and Sinai.

Green Space events have raised more than £40,000 for local and national Green Party organisations, according to organisers. For the Sheffield event, £5 from every ticket sold is pledged to the Sheffield Green Party.

Promoting the event, organisers have used the slogan: “They’ve got billionaires. We’ve got the boogie.”

Polanski was previously quoted as saying: “Dancing is resistance.”

Green Space has also described the gathering as a “political PARTY”, adding: “It’s called a political PARTY for a reason”.

The event is advertised as running from 2pm to 11pm, with tickets priced at £10–£15. It is restricted to over-18s, with attendees required to bring identification. The dress code is anything green.
