Olivia Bowen backs Paws for a Cause campaign

Television personality Olivia Bowen has backed Paws for a Cause, a campaign in aid of Support Dogs.

Ms Bowen, who first came to prominence on Love Island, said her own dog, Winnie, has shaped her understanding of the emotional and practical support animals can offer.

She said: “I’m so proud to support Paws for a Cause and the incredible work that Support Dogs do. My own dog, Winnie, brings so much love, comfort and joy to my life, and I know how much a four-legged friend can make a difference.

“Assistance dogs give people with disabilities independence, confidence and the chance to live life to the fullest. It’s amazing to see the impact they have, and I’m thrilled to help raise awareness for such a life-changing charity.”

Ms Bowen’s involvement aligns with her wider advocacy for animal welfare.

She recently became an ambassador for Redwings Horse Sanctuary, the UK’s largest horse-rescue charity, reflecting her long-standing connection to horses.

She has also spoken publicly about responsible pet ownership, including partnering with PETA UK to highlight the health problems associated with extreme-breeding practices in some dog breeds.

The 360Wire-backed campaign aims to raise £1,000 for 10 autistic children to meet a support dog, secure 15 sponsors for autism assistance dog Peggy, and have 10 people register interest as puppy socialisers.
