The Stags Head, a Thornbridge Brewery pub in Nether Edge, Sheffield, hosted a pub quiz on November 17 raising over £50 for Paws for a Cause.
The quiz was one of two pub quizzes across the city to kick off Paws for a Cause’s ‘Pup Quiz’ week, with the other being the Waggon and Horses on Abbeydale Road South.

Quizmaster Ash Stevenson, 25, was a bartender at the pub before hosting their weekly quizzes.
He said: “Support dogs are just one of those special things that make a difference in a lot of people’s lives.”
Every team paid £2 for entry to the quiz and many other donations were made, with all proceeds going to Support Dogs.
Mr Stevenson added: “The Stags Head loves supporting charities, loves supporting kind of local initiatives.”

The quiz included a special Support Dogs themed round, with questions highlighting the importance of assistance dogs in the world.
Six pubs are involved with Paws for Cause’s Pup Quiz week, with the final quiz being on November 20 at The Fox and Duck in Broomhill.
The Raven Inn in Walkley is continuing its weekly Support Dogs pub quiz on November 19 as part of this week’s fundraiser.
The Pup Quiz week is expected to raise a significant amount of money towards Paws for a Cause’s goal of £1000 before the end of the campaign.
