Police across Yorkshire are hunting for these people, from several men wanted back in prison to a robber on the run.

North Yorkshire

Benjamin Tordoff – wanted for robbery

Crime location: North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire Police are searching for 37-year-old Benjamin Tordoff for his connection to a robbery.

He has connections in County Durham and Cleveland, including Middlesbrough.

If seen, police advise to call 999 immediately. Any information can be passed on by calling 101, using the reference number 12250153641.

Raymond Harris – wanted for prison recall

Crime location: York

Raymond Harris is wanted by police after being recalled to prison for breaching his early release license for an aggravated vehicle taking.

Harris, 42, failed to attend appointments with the Probation Service, failed to reside at approved accommodation, and displayed poor behaviour. 

Extensive enquiries to locate him are ongoing, specifically and recently in the Clifton area of York.

He also has links to Leeds and Middlesbrough.

West Yorkshire

Ashley Wharton – Renewed appeal

Crime location: Leeds

Police in Leeds have renewed their urgent appeal for information on a man wanted on recall to prison. 

Ashley Wharton, 32, was released on license in October after serving part of his sentence for assault. 

It is now believed he has breached the terms of his release and is being recalled to prison. 

He is described as medium build with brown eyes, glasses and black hair, and has words tattooed on the left, right and centre of his neck.

Kevin Talbot – Recall to Prison

Crime location: Leeds

59-year-old Kevin Talbot is being hunted by police after being recalled to prison.

Talbot is believed to have breached the terms of his license and is known to have links to the Bramley and Calverley areas of Leeds.

Any information on his whereabouts can be reported to West Yorkshire Police via 101, online, or anonymously through Crimestoppers, using the reference number, 13250610685.

South Yorkshire

Kevin McAteer – wanted for prison abscondment

Crime location: Doncaster

Kevin McAteer is wanted by South Yorkshire Police after absconding from HMP Hatfield on 22 September 2025.

McAteer, 34, has since failed to engage with officers and hand himself in to continue his sentence four wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. 

He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, and is of a slim build with dark brown, straight hair. He is possibly now clean-shaven and has a tattoo on his right arm that reads ‘Kelsea’.

McAteer is originally from Manchester, and he has connections to the Salford, Swindon, and Pendlebury areas of the city.

If seen, police advise not to approach him but to dial 999 immediately.
