Lane 1 on the M62 is closed eastbound between J30 Oulton and J31 Normanton, according to National Highways Yorkshire.

This is due to an issue with a bridge joint and uneven surface.

Specialist contractors are currently being arranged and repairs will be carries out this evening.

They stated that Lane 1 ‘remains closed for safety until repairs are complete’.
