Sheffield cooking class to host fundraiser for Paws for a Cause

A cooking class for children and parents in Sheffield is set to raise funds for our campaign, Paws for a Cause.

Cookstars have exciting activities planned for regular class visitors: dog-themed crafts and activities alongside cooking, and homemade cookies and dog treats on sale in all our venues.

The class will be led by Emma Wildman, who runs Cook Stars Sheffield North East.

She said: “I’m so excited to be teaming up with Support Dogs for their upcoming Paws for a Cause fundraiser.

“It’s always amazing to see our community come together, and this event is a wonderful way to have fun while making a real difference.”

Cook Stars have pledged a £50 donation to Paws for a Cause, and all proceeds raised from the sale of the baked goods will go directly to the campaign.

The money will go towards our fundraising goal, to raise £1000 for 10 autistic children to meet their future support dog.

Ms Wildman said: “At Cook Stars Sheffield, we’re passionate about bringing people together through food, and this event is all about doing just that, cooking, creating, and supporting an incredible local charity that changes lives.

“Support Dogs do such inspiring work, and we’re proud to help raise funds and awareness for their cause.”

The event will take place on Saturday 15th November at 10am, in Chapeltown.
