Parts of Yorkshire have been recognised for excellence in the annual National Fire Sector Report, which provides an overview of fire and rescue services.
Humberside Fire and Rescue was mentioned in the report for its contribution to community safety and innovation in the latest State of Fire and Rescue 2024-25 report.
The report is published by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS).
Chief Fire Officer, Phil Shillito said; “This recognition from HMICFRS confirms what our communities already know, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is a trusted, forward-thinking emergency service.
We are proud to deliver a compassionate, inclusive service that puts people first, protects lives and uses the latest technology to serve with excellence.”
The team at Humberside Fire and Rescue are nationally recognised, due to their focus on inclusion and staff wellbeing.
Chief Shillito added: “None of this would be possible without the dedication and professionalism of our staff, who consistently go above and beyond to support our communities.
“Their commitment is what makes this Service one we can all be proud of.”
