King Charles has said that he is ‘appalled’ in an official statement following the mass stabbing on board a Doncaster to London train last night.
The incident took place on board the 18.35 train from Doncaster to London Kings Cross. 10 people were admitted to hospital with suspected life threatening injuries, and two British males were arrested by armed police on suspect of atteempted murder.
In an official statement made this morning, King Charles said: “My wife and I were truly appalled and shocked to hear of the dreadful knife attack that took place on board a train in Cambridgeshire last night.
“Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with all those affected, and their loved ones.
“We are particularly grateful to the emergency services for their response to this awful incident.”
