The air is crisp with anticipation outside Sheffield Crown Court this morning as we await the sentencing of Harvey Willgoose’s murderer.

Hordes of journalists from news outlets around the country have descended on the Steel City, all fighting to find the best spot to perch both inside and outside the Court.

About 30 minutes ago, Harvey’s parents arrived at court, their faces painted with sorrow and pain. They took no questions from journalists upon arriving at court, but a press conference may take place later today following the sentencing.

The four police cars which have just raced past the court are a sobering reminder of the awful tragedy which led to today.

Harvey’s killer will receive a minimum life sentence from the judge today, and a lift on the killer’s anonymity may also be lifted.
