North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after a ‘serious assault’ in York left a man with multiple injuries, including a fractured eye socket.
Officers say that the assault took place at around 1.20am on Sunday 5 October, and that the suspect is male. The incident happened on Church Street, near York city centre.
According to the Police, the victim left the Three Cranes pub and walked onto Church Street, where he was struck in the face by an ‘unkown male’.
This left the victim with ‘multiple injuries’, including severe bruising to the back of the head and a fractured eye socket. Despite being discharged from hospital it is unknown if the victim will require surgery or not.
Police would like anyone with information- especially tho who may have witnessed the attack- to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Becca Marr.
