21-year-old Doncastrian Beau Greaves made headlines yesterday after beating darting superstar Luke Littler in the semi-finals of the World Youth Championships.
Aptly named ‘Beau n Arrow’, Doncaster born Greaves has managed to stay under the radar despite establishing herself as the leading female player over the past few years.
Greaves currently sits top of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Women’s rankings, earning a total of £29,600 from competitions over the past 12 months. This puts her well ahead of second placed Fallon Sherrock, who has only made £11,900 in comparison.
Greaves’ victory over Littler, the darting wunderkind and reigning World Champion, is only the latest string in what is sure to become an extremely impressive bow for the Doncaster born youngster.
She will now compete for a £100,000 prize in the final of the World Youth Championships on 23 November, becoming the first women in history to reach that stage of the tournament.

The PDC offered Greaves a Professional Tour Card earlier this month following an impressive performance against 2024 World Champion Luke Humphries in the UK Open, alongside victories in most of the women’s events and competitions.
All eyes will now turn towards the all important World Championships over Christmas, where Greaves will have the chance to prove herself against the very best and compete for a record £1 million winners prize fund.
November’s Grand Slam of Darts will provide the 21-year-old with ample opportunity to practice playing against darting royalty ahead of the pressure, atmosphere and nerves of Ally Pally in December.
