Humberside police are appealing for help to find two teenage boys who may be able to identify suspects involved in a serious assault of a 62 year old man in Hull.
The assault occurred at approximately 8:30 pm on the 31st March 2024.
The 62 year old man suffered severe head injuries, after reportedly being assaulted by a group of teenagers on Paragon Street.
Officers feel the boys in these images may be able to assist with the investigation.
Detective Sergeant Steven Bowley said: “Since the incident, detectives have carried out extensive lines of enquiry, including reviewing hours of CCTV footage, conducting house-to-house visits, and speaking with witnesses.
“As part of our enquiries so far, six teenagers have been interviewed, this includes two 17-year-old boys who were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Both have since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
“I appreciate the length of time that has passed since the incident however we have had to ensure all possible lines of enquiry could be explored before we were in a position to release CCTV images of two boys we would like to speak to.”
If you have any information surrounding the identity of these two individuals, then do not hesitate to contact the police on the number 101, quoting investigation reference 24*42735.
