Leeds native Nick Mohamad will return to screens tonight as he begins his Celebrity Traitors journey.
The actor and comedian was born in Leeds to a Cypriot mother and Trinidadian father and grew up in the West Park area of the city.
Speaking to BBC Iplayer about Celebrity Traitors, Mohammad said: “I decided to take part because I absolutely adore the show, and always have done.
“I’ve always loved games like this and to hang out with such a wonderful, fascinating bunch too – what a privilege.”
After excelling at Abbey Grange Secondary School in Leeds Mohammad turned down an offer from Cambridge University, instead choosing to study Geophysics at Durham University.
Since then he has established himself as one of British television’s most popular figures, playing key roles in shows such as Ted Lasso and Intelligence as well as Piglet the popular Disney children’s film Christopher Robin.
Other contestants on this edition of the show include comedian Alan Carr, broadcaster Clare Balding and chat show host Johnathan Ross.
The winner of the show will earn a £100,000 for the charity of their choice.
